Maybe you are a tea drinker but have never tried loose leaf tea? Or maybe a coffee drinker looking at healthier options for a hot drink? Tea is a great choice and it is understandable if you are new to drinking loose leaf tea. With the exciting choices we offer, it can be difficult to know what to buy, or to know which teas you might like and what accessories are needed to make the most of the tea you buy – well we are here to help!
If you genuinely have no idea which of our teas or tea blends you will like, then why not consider a purchase of one of our taster packs? This gives you a small sample of a number of different teas to taste and enjoy before committing to purchasing a bigger pack. We have designed our taster packs to provide a selection that we feel will offer a delightful taste and flavour that will appeal to everyone, those who want to pick their own to try or those who want a set chosen by us to try.

At Stiggins our experience tells us that some people who have bought loose leaf tea have not had the correct accessories needed to allow them to enjoy their choice to the optimum taste. We would highly recommend a tea strainer of some kind and our starter packs come with a reusable natural cotton tea bag which will get you up and running quickly and without any additional expense.
After trying your selected choice of teas, and deciding on your favourites (we know it will be hard to choose they are all delicious), you can then invest in a metal ball strainer or a squeeze strainer to make your tea making more convenient. Along with an adorable bamboo scoop which measures out your tea exactly should you want one, a teaspoon is fine, however, experience shows that these can lead to a difference between each brew and this in turn will affect the taste and your enjoyment.
Please if this is your first try of our special tea blends, we ask that you use the time to brew your tea as a time to calm your mind, take the time to forget briefly about work or home worries and make it the ceremony it should be. Breathe, let it brew and then enjoy.
